Hi, I’m Chris.
I’m a self taught photographer and videographer. I’ve made a career working in the animation industry, almost certainly working on something you or your kids enjoy watching on TV.
My photography style is mostly relaxed, documentary - often with a lot polish when I’m back at my desk.
Photography has always been
a big part of my life.
Of all my photos, my favourites are still those terribly framed pictures taken at five years old, of my mum and sister and Granny in her 60s pink VW Beetle.
I studied film photography at school and college and then continued to teach myself through my twenties, thirties and now into my forties.
Forty years and counting of creativity and character.
I’ve spent over twenty-five years studying and working in animation and motion graphics.
Being part of the animation team making childrens’ TV requires patience and consistent attention to detail to bring characters to life, skills that I bring to my photography.
I strive to be thoughtful and take the right photo at just the right time.
